Hello, I am Ashley

I have lived in the Abilene area my entire life and have been an Atheist since before I knew that was an option (Just never could wrap my head around Christianity) but have just recently become aware of the Atheist community in Abilene. I went to see Seth Andrews when he was in town but I haven't been to any meet ups yet.

My husband and I have been married for 11 years (dated and lived together for 5 before). We do not have kids but might adopt in a few years. He comes from a VERY CHRISTIAN family, (missionaries, preachers, etc) while most people in my family are more "commercial Christians" if that makes sense (Holidays, angels, heaven, etc) but somehow we make it work.

Looking forward to chatting with locals who can carry on conversations without it always turning to God/Jesus, something that is hard if not impossible to find in Abilene.
